My classes are thoughtfully created in such a way that each practice itself is an experience, an opportunity to explore spaces and feelings, to create connection with the breath, to cultivate awareness, to dive into the nature of the mind and process of change.

 

My Classes

The style of Yoga I teach is called Awakening Yoga, a rich blend of yoga asanas, strength, mobility theory, flexibility and biomechanics, body awareness, breathing, and meditation. The classes, creatively sequenced,  are influenced by different modern movement disciplines. 

The goal of this style, and mine as a teacher, is to meet students in their practice, respecting their bodies and uniqueness while keeping the door open to limitless potential.

Awakening Yoga places a strong emphasis on moving in a ritualistic manner (typical of Flow/Vinyasa Yoga) and on continuous self-reflection during practice, with the aim of knowing ourselves better through challenges, critical thinking, and dedication.

The classes engage in a physical challenge, during which I invite students to ask themselves questions like: “What kind of tensions do I feel? When and where in my body?” – “How do I feel emotionally? How do I feel today compared to yesterday? Does my approach to challenges off the mat reflect how I handle them during practice?” – “Today I feel strong, what if I push myself beyond my usual limits? Today I feel down, can I accept moving slowly and at my own pace?”

My practice encourages exploration, develops personal potential, and translates into freedom of movement. The style is very dynamic. However, the classes are suitable for all levels, as I offer alternatives and options.
